BRIDGESTONE Tires

I had my last winter with my F80 last year, and used Blizzaks on staggered 18” wheels. Never let me down through the shitty Canadian snow.

Pros: never let me down

OEM BMW Tires

BMW, to achieve superior handling, uses an aggressive negative camber for the rear wheels. So the inner of the rear tires will wear out faster by design. It is not an alignment issue.

Pros: superior handling
Cons: tires wear out faster

OEM BMW Water pump

Electric water pump on my BMW was \u00a3436.54 fitted at a BMW specialist (not dealership) OEM pump fitted, the same pump for me to buy and fit myself (no chance) was \u00a3600+ on Euro Car Parts

Cons: expensive, difficult to fit
Vehicle: BMW

Bilstein Shock absorbers

I used Bilstein OE VDC shocks (same spec as BMW OEM). The FRONT ride is extremely rough and harsh on small bumps. Feels like: the front suspension has almost no travel, every road imperfection hits hard, the front is much stiffer than it should be, and the rear feels normal/comfortable.

Cons: rough and harsh
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 10000 km

OEM BMW Spark plug
TeddyBoon
  • Starting:
  • Idle:
Rating 1.0

I dug factory installed spark plugs out of my recently departed E90... they looked like something from the stone age. 19 year old car, and from what I could tell, never had the plugs changes.

Cons: old spark plugs
Vehicle: BMW
