I am currently leaning towards picking up a new Bosch 120 amp over the BMW.

I’m running Continental WinterContact TS 860S SSR snow tires in Maine. Made it 50-something miles to work Christmas Eve in at least 6” of unplowed snow out to the highway (including at least a 12” deep and wide bank at the end of the driveway with no momentum). Packed snow on the highway, and a fluffy snowbank as tall as the hood at the end of an off-ramp. That was just one of many adventures these tires have gotten me through between this winter and last.
I almost went 200000 km on my bmw between spark plug changes, and the motor runs so much better after. My fuel economy almost doubled, and performance was a night and day difference
Just bought these Vredestein All-season Quatrac Pro+ tires from TireRack based on their research/reviews to replace the summer tires that came on our 2023 i4 RWD. I had never heard of them before but I love them. They actually feel much better to me when driving
I can recommend Ravenol 5W-40 NDT oil, it's basically the best oil for the N57 (I assume also for the N47)
I hit a deer with an X5 and except for a small piece of missing trim, you couldn't even tell from 10ft away and it was over $10k. One headlight was replaced because the lower mounting tabs on it were broken.
95K, swapped for NGK laser iridium’s (OEM replacement) plugs and since then have had rough idle but when driving feels fine.
I have a 2016 435i with several mods (Pureturbos Stage 2 hybrid turbocharger, MHD Pure OTS 93 octane tune, XHP stage 3 transmission tune, CTS catless downpipe, BMS cold air intake, BC racing BR coilovers) at 138000 miles that i purchased september 2024. Within the first year of ownership i had to repair/replace brake-pads&rotors, radiator piping, a/c compressor, spark plug and coils, driver-side rear be damper, abs sensor, driver-side headlight day-time running lights and Engine undershield.
I was using Valeo radiator for 1-2 years, then it blew hole right under the hose connector.
I had an E70 X5 that needed new tie rods. Got the Lemförders, because they used to be very good, albeit they are usually on the pricier side. And these things lasted for like 3000 miles.
