I had a similar issue, also with my vw golf GTI. Insurance also covered the repair with auto glass. They used OEM and the experience was very good.

Carglasshoz legalább 10 autót vittem az elmúlt években. Minden esetben szépen dolgoztak, 2-3 óra alatt kész is. Cascos autó esetén ingyenes.

640 voor een nieuwe ruit met quickclear? klinkt als een zeer schappelijke prijs heden ten dage. Ruit van de fiesta vorig jaar laten vervangen met quickclear en sensoren: 1600euro (Carglass)

I've had several over the years, mostly fine, some proportion variations here and there or where the black fading around the edges is and how thick it is etc, but largely okay. I'd say the biggest thing I notice is the appearance of those Little sparkly rock chips becomes easier to develop on the aftermarket glass.

Carglass ist halt ein "Hau Ruck Verein" in Fließbandabfertigung und verbaut billige Scheiben. Es gibt auch mehrere Berichte, dass Leute nach Carglass Scheiben Probleme haben was Stabilität betrifft und der nächste Steinschlag wieder folgt.

J\u00e1 a Carglass n\u00e3o correu bem. O p\u00e1ra-brisas que meteram tem umas ondas. Nada que se note de imediato mas ao mexer ligeiramente a cabe\u00e7a em andamento nota-se logo. Diria que mesmo sendo um p\u00e1ra-brisas Saint-Gobain, est\u00e1 longe da qualidade original.

Wenn CarGlass dann frag‘ bitte dringend ob die alles hinkriegen - inklusive kalibrieren der Kamera etc.. Hier vor Ort können die fast nix davon bei Japanern.

Kürzlich falsche Scheibe installiert und Head-up-Display dadurch nicht mehr lesbar.
