I mostly have stuck with Pirelli Scorpions and have been very happy. The Pirelli Scorpion Verde model gets a bit better gas mileage and is quiet.

Pros: very happy, better gas mileage, quiet

I had the SF3 for 1 year and 40k km. Great, great tire. Quiet, comfortable, good grip in all conditions. They still had a lot of thread (4mm) but one of the rear ones developed some cuts on the inside. The SF3 felt a little too nervous with direction change. BUT, they were so much cheaper than the CC3S that I think they are still the best.

Replacing mine tomorrow with Pirelli scorpion Weatheractives. Tires are fine but I need a more versatile tire for winter and I'm hoping they will help with the road noise too.

I just replaced my pirellis after 19k. Hope the michelins hold up as long or longer.

I'd highly recommend staying away from them. Everyone I've met who has tried them, including myself, has nothing good to say.

My tires were supposed to last 50k miles and only lasted 16k.

Cons: short lifespan, bad experience
