Very happy with my set of DWS06 Plus'
Get you a set of Continental Viking Grip tires. Those things are freaking magic.
I have been impressed with the Pirelli Scorpio and Sam's Club most of the time have them on sale. I don't have a Mazda yet but on my Atlas they have been better than the OEM Khumo and the previous set of Michelin I had. Smooth ride, quiet and great in wet and snowy conditions.
DWS06 is a really good tire and comes in a couple diff tread compounds so you can choose less performance for longer life. I’ve owned these tires on two different vehicles and the longevity was very good as was the snow traction for an all season tire.
I purchased the old tire protection plan ($250 for 4 tires for a year) and I had two unrepairable punctures on two different tires under 7k miles and under 9 months. Tesla replaced both with new Pirelli scorpions without hassle or needing me to haggle
For reference, I have some Pirelli tires on mine. I bought them new in May of this year, and I just had rotations done a few days ago. I’m at 8/32 thread, and they start recommending you to replace them when they get to 4/32.
Pirelli Scorpion AS3. They’re so quiet.
Got new Pirelli Scorpion AS Plus tires on my 2019 CX-5 Touring. The ride is quiet and smooth, but the steering feels loose now. I’m constantly correcting it, and it drifts left or right within seconds if I let go of the wheel.
Right now I have Pirelli P Zero / P Zero Nero in 245/40/18 on the stock wheels. I feel the car isn’t very precise in corners — probably because the sidewalls are too soft.
I'm ready to move on from my screaming Pirellis.
