Tires Pirelli or Continental

Continental Tires

I would recommend a different front if that's your goal - maybe the Vittoria Barzo or the Continental Cross-King. They're both handling-oriented tires rather than pure speed, but don't really give up a lot on the speed front... like the Rekon does.

Pros: handling-oriented tires
Cons: not pure speed

Continental Tires

Conti tires are great on cars. I always get their all-season Continental Extreme Contact DWS06+ for my suv's because they are rated like a 10 on rain and even an 8 in the snow, which is amazing for an all season that's not dedicated to snow. Plus they have a 70k mile warranty.

Pros: great on cars, amazing in rain/snow
Mileage: 70000 km

Continental Tires

I got 32k miles out of my OEM Continentals - I could have pushed them for another 5K miles (I’m in the desert so no snow and limited rain). That’s good enough for me, so I got another set about a week ago.

Pros: good mileage
Mileage: 51500 km

Continental Tires

I have carbon wheels and ride very rocky trails 6-8 hours/week. I use Kryptotal Fr and Kryptotal Re, both in enduro soft, and I don't use inserts. They are great tires. Excellent grip, fast rolling.

Pros: excellent grip, fast rolling

Living in Wisconsin, I will be swapping out the OEM summer tyres with Pirelli Sottozero 3 winters. WINTER SOTTOZERO™ 3 235/35R19 91V XL AUDI - Pirelli Winter Sottozero 3 tires are designed for maximum safety in all weather conditions.

Pros: maximum safety in all weather

Pirelli Tires

Pirelli are suppose to be good performance tires but from my past personal experience being soft they don’t last long. Unless you are racing on every red light, switch.

Pros: good performance tires
Cons: don’t last long

Rating 2.0

Echoing similar sentiments on the 21's - Rotated at 8k and seem to be ripping through them faster than I anticipated.

Cons: wear fast, low mileage
Mileage: 8000 km
