Michelin or Continental are my favorite brands for cars. I'm on my third set of Extreme Contact DWS. Average 50k a set. Good balance of grip and mileage.

Pros: good grip, good mileage
Mileage: 80467 km

If you do a lot of highway miles, get the P4's I've had these on a 13 civic and after 60k miles they had 7/32nd left on the tread when I traded the car in.

Pros: good tread life
Mileage: 96560 km

Pirelli Tires

I've always run Michelin and love them. Needed new tires for a long trip and my dealer didn't have 4 of em so I went with Perelli. Saved about $500 and really liked the ride. On my second set of Perellis now and have no complaints.

Pros: liked the ride

Continental Tires

Continental ECF. They're 200's but more endurance focused. Not a fast tire but can stay consistent through a whole HPDE session. Really good performance in the rain, somehow they move a bunch of water. Long lasting as well... many heat cycles.

Pros: consistent, good rain performance
Cons: not a fast tire

I just got the Pirelli Scorpion AS plus 3 today and from the little experience I have, I’m very happy with them. Very quiet compared to the OEM Yokohamas that came on the 18” wheels.

Pros: very quiet

Too bad you don't have 16s, then you could buy the Continental DWSs(205/50/16s on mine) for the ultimate upgrade in rainy day tire. I spent 45 minutes on Saturday chucking my car actively trying to get it to slip and slide in the rain on mountain road bends and it just wouldn't let go.

Pros: ultimate upgrade, great grip

They're pretty bad... There is no reason I should be chirping in any gear in a straight line... these just are not good tires. Handling is solid but straight line or wet leaves a lot to be desired.

Pros: solid handling
Cons: bad straight line, bad wet
