I would not hesitate to use Mobil1 in my RAV4. I think it's more important that you change the oil than the brand of oil. I have not used Amsoil in 15 years, but my experience was that it was solid.

With Amsoil even if it's not signature series I trust it more than any other 0w8.

I've been running Castrol GTX High Mileage in my Honda for over 140,000 miles. It has 262,000 miles on it now, and I have always done 10,000 mile oil changes over the 235,000 miles I've put on it.

I run Amsoil and my oil change interval is 25k so the answer is it depends.

I only use Amsoil Signature Series in my B58.
