I've had one in my car for a decade of track use with no issue...I've got a new Denso I'm replacing it with when I get a chance since it's 10+ years old now (though its still black and shows no signs of aging really.)
For a car with no turbo, the OEM TYC rad is perfect. It's what I use for a 100% track car with no ac. Fully sealed off all passages, forcing all air through the rad.
I got my TYC off RockAuto and been rocking it for 20k miles with no issues
