4T60E gearboxes weren't great for reliability behind a V8.
A former GM engineer talked in detail about how he was pressured to cheapen the transmissions of existing cars every single model year. GM's relentless cheapening made it worse year after year. That's the culture you're betting on when you buy a GM product.
350hp to the wheels is far too much for an early 4l60e with stock internals. Especially if it has more than 4 miles on it currently.
