amazing truck - I daily drove one in California (gasoline 1fz-fe is arguably the best Toyota motor ever IMO) for several years. Geared for off-road, doesn't cruise comfortably on freeways above ~70mph. 12-13 miles per gallon city or highway, always the same number. It never stranded me, so very reliable.

I swapped out some very sad stock rotors for slotted ones and I DID notice a difference but only because I'd done the pads as well and well.... fresh brakes!
We also got a crack on our windshield while traveling on a highway. Fortunately it was smaller than the size of a 10rs coin so i used the resin kit and fixed it
The new corollas have AWD. Throw winters on and youd be unstoppable.
Toyota Auris 2009
Cost me 5 grand with <100k mileage. Timing chain instead of timing belt, not much maintenance needed. One time I ran off the road onto gravel and rocks doing a 100, the car went back onto the road immediately with no problems. Went to the mechanic, he said it's just cosmetic damage.
I did an oil change and replaced my starter because my started had gone out after 270,000 miles.
I also have a 2013 toyota corolla, I changed the spark plugs, I removed the throttle body and cleaned it, I replaced the air sensor, replaced the air filter, etc... and I have the same issue, when the car warms up, when I stop and it's in idle, it will rough idle (between 600 and 800 rpm) for like a second and go back to normal, and do it over and over again...
Biggest dramas i've had is one bent tie rod and ripped the boot on the CV's a few times, always when i've hit a rut being silly.
Sulla stessa Yaris i paraurti sembravano attaccati con il patafix, qualità percepita veramente bassa
I experienced this as well. Bought a kit and the belt was sooooo hard to get on. Like I knew it wasn’t going to be easy but man it was hard to get on. The belt broke after less than 10k miles. Everything was marked genuine, etc.
