I have a 25 yo Subaru Impreza RS that is completely unaffected by snow. That is as long as I put proper snow tires on in the winter, I forgot to switch one winter before a storm and my summer tires were pointless to say the least.

This is the one to use my guy. On my fxt the cartridge is slightly taller than subarus. So more filter material and its easier to take off because its longer.

My 2008 STi made it to 150k before needing them done, aftermarket buffer ones are on now and my poor 2010 2.5i had it's done at 35k under warranty but hasn't had an issue so far at 85k so we'll see I guess.

I had the similar issue I had no error code nothing I changed everything. MAF, coil, spark plugs and TPS and nothing help the issue.

The problem was the oil pump I don't know why the oil sensor didn't light up.

Cleaned out the MAF, installed an air filter, and he topped up the oil. I've noticed that the throttle response was a little lower than before, the boost is noticeably lower, and there is no longer any blow off valve noises. Otherwise car runs fine and shows no signs of struggle.

I took it to the mechanic. My ac compressor needs to be replaced.
