'12 veloster with 180k miles. In the shop now for exhaust manifold. Has been a solid little car thankfully.

I have a 21 Kona this was my 3rd winter with it here in NL, no rust proofing and they love using 1000% salt on our roads, no issue on my whatsoever. I have it checked every time we get our wheels changed sometimes they have to greese the pins on the breaks but no corrosion or anything.

All you need

to do is change your oil

And oil filter every 5000 miles OR 6 months using a high quality FULL SYNTHETIC Oil and a quality ( HYUNDAI) oil filter!!

I have the hyundai ones on mine (22 ICE TUSCON SEL FWD) stock and they don't whistle at all.

My original spark plugs lasted over 150k km. Replacing them corrected a weird accel issue (power drop on full accel).

The new Hyundai windshields are kinda terrible and crack very easily from what I have seen and heard, so honestly you would probably be better off going aftermarket anyways

I have a 2018 Elantra GT sport and just had my windshield replaced due to a crack. The installer basically told me the same about my windshield. The windshield wasn't sealed to the car on the driver's side. It seems only the passenger half was sealed properly. I'm going to report this to Hyundai Canada as this is a potential safety hazard for anyone who gets into an accident or it could lead to water leak issues doen the road.

The windshield has already given out on me. It appears as if a rock chip turned into a crack almost instantly and I’m concerned if this is a common occurrence because I saw some others mentioning it. I’m out $800-900 for the repair and another month or two waiting on the windshield as it is on back order. I haven’t seen a windshield crack this easy and I’m scared it will happen again. The car is so new there is no aftermarket options for the windshield so you are forced to go with the OEM option.

I purchased a 2019 Tucson the 32,000 miles on it in 2022 I have now went through my third catalytic converter it is back in the shop needless to say and they are saying again they've never seen these error codes.
