Apart from a few sets of tires, a new set of awkwardly large wiper blades each year and one 12V battery all it has needed was some very basic maintenance: change brake fluid (same as doing regular brakes - nothing special) and greasing the caliper slider pins. Still on the original pads and rotors.

I took a drive in my i4 a couple of weeks ago that estimated I'd get home with 4% battery. Guess what I rolled into the garage with..... 4% battery. These modern systems are pretty damn accurate.
Personally I like wind deflectors on my front windows, they are practical and add a bit of style to the car.
I live in Socal and bought mine from a dealer out of state. Get on bimmerpost and search, there are a few like Jeff Steele from Passport BMW or a finance manager at Camarillo. If you are hard on the brakes like I am looking at Ultimate care+ is worth it. I’ve used its twice already to replace pads and rotors
I bought an e61 520d in 2020 with 201k miles, replaced timing chain at 204k and had it until 2023. Sold it with 233k miles to a breaker exporting to Lithuania. Other than the timing chain, it was bullet proof. Only ever replaced the oil, filters and tyres
I also just had a new battery installed by BMW, $600 for the honor.
And one tire due to a bulge. The tire was not cheap ($500) but I let the dealership deal with it rather than getting it done cheaper elsewhere as I didn't want to drive on a massive bulge.
Can't believe this is a "sealed unit" that managed to get condensation inside from driving through a puddle. What is BMW's QC coming to?
BMW’s shitty bushings
The oil pan hung down low under the car and was prone to being struck by large objects and disintegrating upon impact.
