It makes a fairly drastic different in visibility on my E30 so I use them, they're yellow too. They're aimed properly and won't blind anyone and provide better visibility IMO

In all of my cars, I have always done it. '92 BMW 325i, and my '97 GTI. It is something that I feel should be done as others have said, makes it easier on the starter, I shut it off when I am pulling into my parking spot. I just turn the fans off.
Well made, but they ain't cheap. Here's the diagrams for the N54 setup: http://www.realoem.com/bmw/par...fg=35 The water pump itself is over $500.
Based on extensive testing, BMW has approved only certain engine oils. Use only approved "BMW High Performance Synthetic Oil." If you are unable to obtain "BMW High Performance Synthetic Oil," you can add small amounts of synthetic oil in between oil changes.
I bought a 83 528e in college with 168K miles on it, it lasted me thru college, a pizza delivery job, a paper delivery route for 2 years, and I still own it now over 10 years later with well over 300K miles on it. In that time period I honestly don't remember it ever needing repairing, I would say a total of less than $1500 for worn relays, timing belts, vacuum lines, coolant hoses, suspension bushings, and some other minor items.
plastic radiator ends tend to crack and leak on the 4.4's. make sure you get an aluminum upgrade.
yes sir...I did it myself....and I tell yeah...the eyebrow really hides alot....and the headlights show way better than before....when adjusted properly....
Bimmer also use same kind of jack... I think most Germany jack suck!
