Amsoil engine flush. Then some Amsoil 0w-40 full synthetic and oil filter change. Sounds like lifter tick.

I have a 2017 with the 3.0T. I was burning 1qt every 1,000 miles. I was using Motul 5W-40 oil but before my last oil change I used the Amsoil engine flush. Per the instructions I let the engine idle with the flush in it for 15 minutes then changed the oil. I’m now using Amsoil 5W-40.
In the first 1,000 miles following the Amsoil flush and oil change, it used 1/3 qt. That’s a substantial improvement in my book.
I've been using AMSoil 5W40 European car formula for the past 8,000 miles. I noticed a lot of sludgy nasty bits in the head last time I changed my oil. so I used the AMSoil engine flush and I filled up with the same oil and I used one of their extended life filters... I saw a lot of sludgy nasty stuff come out in the oil when I drained it... I started up my engine and it runs much smoother now and the power is much better BUT, the valvetrain seems really loud.
