I have a set of NOS Girling 60 from Autotech garage sale on the g60 right now. Have been running them for over 7 years. Better pedal feel over the G54's and no changes need to be made to the existing Corrado (g60 or VR) mc.

The ones you bought replace the factory halogen headlights, which are not xenon.
I'm currently running wilwood 11" rotors and 4 piston forged dynalight calipers on my mk3 spindles. I plan on going bigger soon and this will be my setup.
I had this issue in an old 2.0l cabrio with 165k miles on it. I eventually had to ensure I used a mann filter and 10w40 oil at all times. Never had a problem again. The better filter flows better and the heavier oil creates more pressure at the higher temps.
I had a Valeo alternator from an 03 Jetta in my garage, so I slapped that in and made the connector work somehow. Its working perfect now. 14.5v almost instantly at startup. Weather is below 30F.
I would try replacing it with a stock Bosch alternator.
The plugs were only part of the problem. (They were NGK VW/Audi part#1010000035AB, NGK BKB5EKU. Good plugs, lasted forever. Sure, they needed to be replaced, but the #6 plug well must have been flooded a time or two before the radiator was replaced last month. The metal plug jacket had a lot of green crud in it. I cleaned the plug jacket with cylinder brushes from Harbor Freight ($7.00 without coupon for an assortment 3 sizes in SS and brass) and finished with medium emery paper wrapped around a thin long screwdriver. The motor runs smoothly now, across the RPM range, without hesitation.. I'm wearing a pretty wide smile.
Since Iridium is tough, and there is platinum at the tip of the movable electrode, I bought Bosch Iridium.
My Fox had 185/60/14's when I bought it new. I've ran this size for may years mostly in Pirelli and Yokohama's. They seem to be about just right. I did try 195/60/14 but I got a wheel rub in the rear when I hit hard bumps. Now I had some NITTO - NT01 Ultra HP that were 205/55/14. I really like the way these tires looked on the Fox , they are only + 0.07 difference in Side Wall height compared to the 185/60/14. What I liked was the width of the tire is 8.07" wide -vs- 7.28" wide. The only Cons about these tires is that they are very soft. So you are lucky if you get 30,000 miles out of them.
New throttle body installed...Currently there's zero difference between the old and new throttle body.
