Rating 4.0

Fast forward to my 1st of 3 Ravs with much better snow tires and it was a much better ride. So, Ravs are very decent in snow, no
Issue… BUT get good snow tires and I’d stay away from winter rated all-seasons tires if you have to drive in regular snowy areas.

Pros: much better ride
Cons: stay away all-seasons

Falken Tires

I took a set of 7/32 tread depth firestone ft140’s off my little daily driver Toyota Corolla and went with a set of Falken Aklimates. They run quieter, cost less, and last longer than the cross climates (which I also sell) and are my most recommended tire for cars and small SUV’s.

Pros: run quieter, cost less

Denso Alternator

Ok, so it's a toyota so odds are it's a denso or denso style alternator. I used to rebuild Alternators, you will need access to test certain parts like the regulator, or diode trio, or the windings to see where it's failing.

OEM Toyota Starter motor

I have a 2006 corolla with 350,000 miles. I had to replace the OEM alternator and starter. Transmission and everything else is original, save consumables.

Pros: original transmission, steady diet
Cons: valve cover gasket leak
Vehicle: Toyota Corolla
Mileage: 563270 km
