Motorcraft Oil filter

I use a compatible Motorcraft filter and the Havoline synthetic that comes in the box. It gets hot. The engine is just fine. You don’t need to fret over fancy oil. It’s a Lexus.

Pros: engine runs fine

OEM Toyota Oil filter

I have found that my engine runs smoothest with the Toyota 90915-YZZD3 filter and Valvoline full synthetic. The first time I put an OEM filter on the engine and fired it up, i was like woah! thats even smoother than usual!

Pros: smooth engine operation
Vehicle: Lexus
Part number: 90915-YZZD3

POWER STOP Brake discs
2020_GR78
  • Braking:
Rating 5.0

I put them on my truck first for better braking while towing and was so impressed with them that I put a set on my wife's rx350 as well just because they feel so much better than stock, IMO. They are outstanding. They just feel more robust/solid under heavy braking vs. stock.

Pros: better braking, more robust
Vehicle: Lexus

OEM Lexus Brake discs

This year I replaced front brakes and rotors on my ‘13 ES350 at 110,000 miles. Original rotors lasted 110,000 miles and I had zero issue with expecting the same performance out of OEM. Replaced with OEM brakes and rotors, operates just like new, as expected.

Pros: long lasting, good performance
Vehicle: Lexus
Mileage: 110000 km

I've had similar experiences and found the Trico Flex to be the "sweet spot" of performance, cost and availability.
