Bridgestone RE-71R alllll day for me.
Correct they're renamed RE-11's. I only use them for summer since I'm in the Chicago area. I've had them on the car for three summer's now and they're pretty much done for now but that includes a couple track days per summer. They're probably about 90% of the PSS in the end they lack the ultimate grip of the PSS but at about a 1/3 of the price. I'd wager I've put about 25k on them in the three summers which is pretty good for a summer only tire.......
I had previous versions on my grand Cherokee (31s) and loved them absolutely unstoppable in the snow. and have the current version on my TJ (\"35s\") and love them as well. Not as aggressive looking as the GY MT/RS I had on for a little while before them but much smoother and quieter.
I\u2019ve been really really happy with Yokohama Geolandar AT/S on my Forester. I\u2019m on the second set are great in any setting, and extremely quiet and long wearing for how aggressive they are.
My 2018 Tiguan S came with Bridgestone Ecopias. They're nice and quiet. A 2018 Tiguan S loaner that I drove for a week had the Continentals. I'm not sure if it's just in my head, but I think the Ecopias are smoother and quieter.
I got 19 inch Yokohama Advan A/S for $800. I have the Mazda 6 sport that came with 17 inch Yokohamas from the dealership. I upgraded my rims to 19 inch so I decided ided to get Yokohamas again.
I had geolander a/ts on my old ZJ and I've never driven a better vehicle in the snow than that.
I had a set of these on my old GMT400 Suburban, and I loved them.
I got about 6 tracks days from my RE-71R tires last season. They were great for about the first 15 minutes, but fell off after that. They also got shredded pretty quickly.
I have had a few sets of blizzacks, and while they were great on slick roads, I found they were not good going through a few inches or more of snow and were terribly "mushy".
