Continental CrossContact LX25 all day long. I've ran LTXs and those aforementioned GoodYear Comfort Drives and the Contis excel them in every aspect.

Pros: excels in every aspect

Pirelli Tires

I've had Pirelli Scorpion plus all season 15 years ago on my old Nissan Sentra and it did a great job for 50k miles. Right now, i have Pirelli Scorpion AT plus and it does a great job so far in all weather with my Lexus GX460. I have good experience so far with Pirelli compared to other brands.

Pros: great job, all weather
Mileage: 50000 km

If you only drive in snow 2 or 3 times a year, I’d go with the continental cross contact, it’s a quiet, comfortable ride and all around great all season tire, also comes standard of some of the premium Toyotas like the Venza.

Pros: quiet, comfortable ride
Vehicle: Toyota Venza

Pirelli Tires

If you only drive on snow a handful of days a year, I'd get the Pirellis, they'll be better than the other two most of time.

Pros: better than the others

From experience with Gislaved on a WRX, Blizzak WS90 on another car, Blizzak DMV2 on a large diesel SUV,  and Viking Contact 7s on a “regular SUV” and a parent’s older car, my personal favourite are the continental VC7s for all around winter.

Pros: all around winter
Vehicle: Subaru

Wife’s Audi came with Pirelli’s they seemed ok but we did switch to Michelin when we switched wheels. The Pirelli’s only had 5k miles and seemed to have an odd wear pattern. Much happier with the Michelins

Pros: seemed ok
Cons: odd wear pattern
Vehicle: Audi
Mileage: 5000 km

Honestly, the Pirelli Scorpions kinda suck. I just passed 20k on our Badlands and there is no way these tires will make it to 30k. Performance is also just mediocre.

Pros: quiet, low rolling resistance
Cons: performance is mediocre
Mileage: 20000 km
