Tires BRIDGESTONE or BFGoodrich

BFGoodrich Tires

I've been running BFG K02s on it since I put it on the road in 2017, they are finally worn down enough that I wouldn't want to run them this winter. I've had no complaints about the K02 personally, its a solid all around-er.

Pros: solid all-rounder, no complaints

Dedicated snow tires like Blizzaks kick any 3 peak tires ass. I've driven several brands, and I almost have to drive every time it snows. I wouldn't choose any other tire for winter driving/ commuting, and some light off road.

Pros: excellent winter driving, light off-road

When I was living in Montana I got Blizzaks because the commute to the resort was up an icy canyon. I love the Blizzaks so much, I now don’t want my KO2s on my car in the winter. The grip is so different.

Pros: loved, excellent grip, good on ice

Felt good, real frigging good on the Bridgestones compared to the Falkens. I love Falkens for the price but had to be competitive and it was my first time on Potenza rubber and I don't know if I can go back. I was able to left foot brake so well through the elements and folks on the cones said I was absolutely 3-wheeling through the sweepers, so nice to feel the front end grip and hold.

Pros: good front end grip, excellent hold, competitive performance

Southern Maine here. The KO3s I’m currently running are terrific in both rain and snow. Every bit as good as the old AT3W in both. Only time I went 4hi last winter was on a particularly twisty/hilly part of my commute (narrow two lane rd) and that had more to do with me being overly cautious, not because it was slipping

Pros: terrific in rain, terrific in snow

We swapped in snow tires (blizzaks) and took a 20% efficiency hit, so your reported 33% is definitely worse but still in the same ballpark.

Cons: 20% efficiency hit

Weatherpeak is a horrrifically bad tire in dry and wet conditions. It could not pass the tirerack emergency lane change test and has long braking distances in dry and wet conditions.

Cons: bad in dry and wet

Making a left turn into a business parking lot, I heard a pop and the left front dropped and the sound of rubber getting mushed. Not even a bubble before this happened.

Cons: tire popped, rubber mushed
