My E39 rotors have lasted forever. They’re Brembo from rock auto with Aki Bono pads. Run the same set up on both of our E46’s as well

Pros: rotors lasted forever
Vehicle: BMW

I’ve been using Brembo for my E39. Just be careful that there are lower tier for Brembo, it is still original Brembo but without anti-corrosion coating. It got corroded after a month or so. The one that got coated is slightly more expensive but I’d go for that next time.

Pros: good quality, original Brembo
Cons: corroded quickly, uncoated
Vehicle: BMW

Bought Brembo UV coated rear rotors to specifically replace Bosch ones with rusty hubs - doesn't look good because clearly visible through the rims. After few rainy days I clearly see rust spots on the Brembo rotor hubs... Very disappointed as this was the reason for replacing in the first place - previous ones (Bosch) were only 1y old.

Cons: rust spots on hubs

Looks sharp, but remember slotted and drilled rotors are really pretty worthless in most cases until you get to really aggressive track only brake pads at extremely fast advanced level pace (or race pace).

Cons: worthless in most cases
