Brake discs Brembo or EBC

Recenlty got myself Brembo rotors and Akebono pads (Honda Odyssey)

I bought Brembo blank disc with Bosch quietcast pad for my civic from rock auto , very satisfied with it, not much dust, quiet, stops well in rain.

As for brakes, I changed mine with Brembo OE discs and pads all round for about 1/8 of that price.

I'm running their slotted rotors (honestly just for looks). Back and forth between red and yellow. Usually mount yellows for autox/dragon runs.

I just did this and did a ton of research. The brembo prime rotors were most expensive at rockauto but still cheap relative to oem and even autozone gold. I would go with any of the coated premium rotors, but for 20 bux more each at 60 bux they are still cheaper than OEM.

Never had a bike with ABS, but I had a 2007 SV650S and changing some things on the front brakes really helped. I had EBC XC Rotors, HH Pads, Galfer Lines, GSXR Master and it made the braking more responsive and linear.

I changed my rotors and pads a year ago and got ebc sport rotors and hawk hps 5.0 pads. I absolutely do not recommend ebc rotors as mine have already warped and make a grinding noise. The hawk pads are good, but the brake feel is linear so if you prefer a firmer pedal feel I think ebc red or yellow is a better bet.

Good idea but turns worst idea when buying Brembo parts. Brembo is the worst consumer brake parts company nowadays. Pro parts good but consumer parts shittiest shit. Disk warps first 100km or are already warped from box, pads dust like hell and destoroy rims.

Have recently had shudder with Brembo brakes on my 2018 Kia Stinger GT2 … 55k miles ….after inspection , need new rotors and pads.
