This is fine - its slightly more inclined towards fuel economy i.e. thinner

Using it in Vitz since an year now - no issues.

Pros: fuel economy, no issues
Cons: thinner oil

MOTUL Gear oil

Rating 4.0

When I was researching MTF I found several experience that said the older Toyota transmissions get a little crunchy on the RedLine and I saw lots of good reports for Motul 300 75W-90 so I used that in mine earlier this year. It doesn't have issues but the shifting is ever so slightly smoother.

Pros: shifting is slightly smoother
Cons: crunchy on the RedLine
Vehicle: Toyota

LIQUI MOLY Gear oil

LIQUI MOLY is a high-quality, aftermarket supplier that I have personally used across a ton of makes and models. That gear oil is a GL4+ or GL4/5 spec hypoid gear oil, which is going to cover the vast majority of differentials and transmissions. (I use that in my VW GTI track car and 996 daily) - and I have always been happy with it.

Pros: high-quality, always happy
Vehicle: Porsche

MOTUL Gear oil

Fresh gear oil can help grinding synchros. It sounds weird, but it's true. 75w90 GL5 is the oil you need. Motul gear 300 is the most recommended gear oil brand for subarus, but any GL5 rated 75w90 gear oil will probably help a lot.

Pros: helps grinding synchros, highly recommended
Vehicle: Subaru

VALVOLINE Gear oil

AMSOIL Gear oil

TBH, I recommend OEM fluid for the trans for this reason. It's too much of a minefield with hybrid fluids. I used to recommend Amsoil (I use it) but they no longer have the gear oil I use.

Pros: recommends Amsoil gear oil
Cons: no longer available

Nici Mobilu nu mai e ce a fost...

Am pus in cutie 75w90 prin 2019 a mers ceas.

Anul trecut cand am facut distributia zic hai sa schimb toate lichidele daca tot fac o treaba.

Mileage: 2000 km
