i have a 5qt of Mobil 1 sitting around in case i ever need to take it in for warranty work.

In my Shiver 750, Motul or Motorex every 3,500 miles were required to keep neutral findable when you want it and hidden when you don’t. False or impossible-to-find neutrals were a sign that it was time for an oil change.

Here is what IAG recommends

FA2ODIT (91 or 930ct) - Motul 5w30 8100 X-clean EFE, change oil every 2500-3000 miles

I run Mobil 1 15w50 in Colorado in my 1.8 8v 85 GTi. For camshaft insurance I add a zinc additive at oil change time.

I use Mobil 1 15W50 zddp conent is higher than regular oil.

I'm running Castrol EDGE 0W-40 A3/B4 right now, but feel there is more startup noise than when using Mobil 1 FS 0W-40 European Formula.
