POWER STOP Brake discs

Also here in support of PowerStop. Been running the Z23 Kit on my BMW F30 for a few years. No complaints whatsoever and the drilled and slotted rotors look great! Highly recommend!

Pros: look great, no complaints

POWER STOP Brake discs

When I was told something similar, I went with Powerstop Z36 extreme tow at just over $600 for both front and rear rotors and pads. I did this at 42,000 im now at 115,000 and still good on same set. I use it as a truck and drive it like a sportscar.

Pros: still good on same set
Mileage: 42000 km

Brembo Brake discs

For just over $600 and two separate weekends of doing rears first then fronts, I did a complete OEM replacement Brembo brake job. New rotors, new pads, new clips.

Pros: complete replacement, good job

Pros: great rotors
Cons: a bit noisy on braking

Was also thinking of doing EBC dimpled and slotted rotors, just to not worry about potential drilling rotor issues.

Pros: no drilling rotor issues

POWER STOP Brake discs

I got my 2008 Acura RL calipers on my 00 TL and I used slotted rotors and Bose brake pads. They bite. So IMO I would get the PowerStop, a very good brand everyone loves.

Pros: good bite, good brand
Vehicle: Acura TL

I’m seeing some very small cracks on the cross-drilled holes. At what point does this become concerning? These are the front rotors on a new G82 M4 comp after about 6 track days using Pagid R29 Yellow pads which I’ve used before with no issues. My preference is to keep the stock rotors rather than switching to non cross drilled rotors

Pros: no issues with previous pads
Cons: small cracks on rotors

as of now it's still got the OEM ones on the rear (and I failed to notice that they'd begun to warp due to already having swapped the front brakes back in August).

Cons: rotors warped

Mileage: 136000 km

OEM BMW Brake discs

You need the Msport brakes unless you want new rotors every 5,000 miles. Have a 540i that didn’t come with them and was a nightmare until I upgraded.

Cons: new rotors every 5000
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 5000 km
