a genuine Bosch air filter is about £25, undoing 5 screws (from memory) and about 20 minutes.

When did you last change your air filter? Do you know that you have good flow into the turbo intake side?
173K is nothing for an Odyssey, provided it has had at least minimal maintenance. This means oil changes, transmission fluid changes, timing belt (including water pump) and air filters.
I just ordered the K&N air filter for my 24 Trax now that’s it’s time to replace the OEM.
They also make one for the cabin filter. Not only does it save you money it saves all the waste of throwing away all the used air filters. I’ve used them for years in all my vehicles.
I had one of these, had the 1.6 Honda in it, revved to 9 grand lol. Fitted a K&N air filter and an exhaust on it. Targa roof was the best thing with it.
K&N but from everything I have seen/read the Motorcraft OEM paper is awesome and you don't need to find a different solution.
Return the k&n filter and stick with the stock motorcraft.
There are little to no performance gains from adding a "performance" filter to a Mazda3. The benefit of K&N, imo, is cost saving due to reusability.
And it's a shitty Fram filter.
Swiss cheese air filters (MWR, K&N) will do a number on your valve seats. Ask me how I know If you buy it, swap back to OEM or get a Spint DNA filter. I have a whole superbike engine build and the hp trade off isn\u2019t worth it.
