I love my beast. So compared to the newer ones a third gen literally is better built on the inside. The newest ones the handles break off and alit if it is just not as hardy. I have a 1999 and have 269,000 miles on her. She has need a few things replaces, she came cross country, but new break booster new brake master cylinder, new alternater, and some work on the cellinoiud on tyranny repaired for a 99 she's still beast mode. I recommend this car to anyone looking

Just had to do mine on 2010 Prius w/98k mi. Replaced Brake Booster and Master Cylinder Assembly and fluid flush, $1,792 out the door, parts and labor. Yes the parts are expensive for this job, but shop around to different dealerships. One dealer 40 miles away was $3,900 for the same job!
