I have the stage 1 F1 kit on my VR6 and also my 8v (G60 trans using this VR6 kit), it is a genuine Sachs pressure plate and TOB, only the disc is Japanese. The disc is made by ASCO, which is Aisin the same people who made several transmissions for VW/Audi. You are not getting junk by any means, the products are OEM brands.

Pros: OEM brands, genuine Sachs

Sachs Clutch kit

Okay, transmission of power; I found a heavy duty Sachs clutch kit, it has 20% increased clamping force. Pressure plate, clutch disc, throwout bearing, push rod, bushing and seal, clutch cable and all new bolts, and the release arm just in case.

Pros: increased clamping force
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I got this setup from ecs tuning a few months ago when I rolled over 113k miles. Im not closing in on 121k miles and its help up fine. Not to much clutch chatter, and actually I prefer the pedal feel over my mkV.

Pros: prefer the pedal feel
Cons: Not to much clutch chatter
Mileage: 113000 km

Sachs Clutch disc

I used a rebuilt clutch disc and had about the same thing happen. It wasn't a new Sachs disc and it wouldn't work because a part of it stuck out too far and it always rubbed on the pressure plate.

Cons: part stuck out too far
