Nissan use to be good

The alternator quit on my 2020 Nissan Sentra, and there were NO aftermarket options for it. The dealership wanted $900, JUST for the alternator, so I can actually believe their price.

I had to change my lower control arm and outer tie rod due to wobble when driving. Nissan quoted me around $3k for all of it. I got it done for $280 (all 4 parts) plus $140 for alignment. I watched a few youtube videos and borrowed some tools. After almost a day, I got it done. Car drives really well now.

I work in Halfords and this happens quite often on imported or jap cars. The system will hold specifications for UK, your car (Nissan) will have jap spec coolant in it so you can do 1 of 2 things: 1- go to a mechanic and get it changed to something both suitable and readily obtainable, 2- go to Nissan for it

Granted the OEM tires are pretty "meh" on the car so probably will be the fist thing I replace when they wear down.

We have a 2023 Rogue and had to have the original battery replaced only a few months in. Had the run around of multiple long battery tests.

Any Nissan with an automatic transmission. Just don't.

my sister in law had an 09 Murano. Same thing. She replaced the CVT in it 3 times

My 2017 versa died at 54k miles / 88k km. Got 2 quotes, $6k or 8k on a car worth 10k. Canadian $ figures.

Mine went out last year at 50k (32k miles) on a 2017 SL. Super annoying and still annoyed.
