Slow charging using a standard 110V outlet is better for the battery and should suffice for your use case as long as you can charge overnight and maybe longer over weekends.

My wife had a Nissan Cube that had a CVT transmission and it was fucked. I don’t know what was wrong with it but sometimes after stopping at a red light and you’d go to accelerate you could have your foot down to the floor and it would just drag ass then WHAM you’d start flying. My wife almost killed us a couple of times from that happened turning in intersections.

Nissan makes the WORST CVT transmissions EVER. Every Nissan I've ever seen, especially the Altima's, eventually do this crap.
