Pros: good vehicle, still strong
Cons: fuel pump replacement
Vehicle: Nissan

OEM Nissan Alternator

If you don\u2019t have huge power requirements and are happy with the standard amperage then just grab an NA Z32 alternator from a wrecker and modify the tensioner bolt to suit.

Pros: easy to find in US
Cons: modify tensioner bolt
Vehicle: Nissan

OEM Nissan Engine oil

Nissan Titan 5.6L took about 7L of oil. For an engine that has a typical wet sump pan, that surprised me considering the fact that most domestic pickups take 6L of oil.

OEM Nissan Engine oil

My 2003 Frontier only holds 3.5 quarts. Yes, it's made like that. For a while, I thought it just had a crappy dipstick tube and the dipstick was rubbing the sides and hard to read. Nope, oil change places and even mechanics would routinely dump 5 quarts in it. Even after I told them it only took 3.5 quarts.

They found a cracked DS exhaust manifold, pulsing brakes, a pull under braking, leaking front pinion seal, and bad rear shocks. I tackled the shocks myself

Pros: improved ride over bumps
Cons: cracked exhaust manifold

Had a Rogue in the family that we got rid of. Don’t want to deal with the crap CVT. Love how they advertised them as sealed units that lasted the life of the vehicle without maintenance. You can hardly even get a shop to change transmission fluid on them. I dunno maybe they would last longer with regular fluid changes. After that rogue, I’m staying the hell away from Nissan. What a rattle trap full of issues.

Cons: crap CVT, rattle trap, full of issues
Vehicle: Nissan

My 2018 rogue with 75k miles just shit the bed with the cvt transmission. Thank god they’re going to replace it for free or else it would’ve costed $6300 for that bs up here in Long Island.

Pros: replaced for free
Cons: cvt transmission failed
Vehicle: Nissan
Mileage: 120700 km
