I put Michelin defender IIs on my 2019. I’m steady at 3.4kwh down from 3.6. But, the huge difference in handling traction and overall feel of the car is amazing. The tires are “EV ready” and rated for 80k miles. 100% recommend them.
The Michelins have a somewhat well-known delamination problem. I got them too from Costco on a Michelin month, and they are definitely a marked improvement over the stock tires in all regards. They're grippier in the dry and wet and quieter.
The pilot sport all season 4 are a huge upgrade over the stock Bridgestones!
If performance is your thing, go with the Michelin Pilot Sport 4S. Absolutely fantastic rubber with a--in Canada--50k treadwear mileage warranty.
I loved the grippiness of Michelin tires. But just know that your gas mileage will probably decrease due to the stickiness...
Michelin tires are generally considered top of the line in almost every category (when speaking about all season performance/road noise).
For better grip Michelin defenders good but expensive and you’ll lose 10% +/- mpg.
Try Michelin road 6’s if you want more of a touring/long life tire.
If you don’t ride hard, get a Michelin road 6.
My 70K Michelins were rocks at 47000
Still had some tread left all evenly worn but they sucked
No traction,no ride quality and i junked them.
