Been using these since I got this car 3 years ago.

The AS remind me of all of my Pilot experiences in the wet. But I am cautious when probing limits on public roads; I have yet to experience these in the wet on roads that I know well. I really want to feel how these break loose - sudden or gradual - after loosing traction on wet roads. But they do continue to impress me, far beyond the Pirellis.
Very common swap and very well documented. We did the swap on my husband's '01 Jetta TDI and it wasn't bad at all.
The kolbenschmidts are coated side skirts as well which is great for cyl bore wear. Few mk4 blocks I grabbed had perfect cyl bores even at high mileage.
Just installed stoptech slotted rotors f/r along with hawk hps 5.0, so far so good, quiet linear pedal response, not over boasted like stock, much less dust.
what I used on my old car from after the warranty ended to 215,000 miles (the last oil change before buying a new car)? Shell Rotella T6 or Chevron Delo 400 LE 5w40, which ever was cheaper at WalMart (or in stock), combined with a FRAM filter (back when it was made in Germany), then later the genuine Mann filter.
Purchased a replacement exhaust manifold, mine had too many striped stud holes or my liking. Purchased from a member! Update: Picked it up today, great replacement part!
I also just bought the AS3+ for the mix of wear rating and performance (I also have dedicated winter tires so this wasn't important for me neither) and I'm also REALLY pleased with them. They actually handle stage 2 power better than the Potenza, which is a summer tire. I now have 10 000 km on them and I can honestly say that they offer equivalent or even better performance than many summer tires I had. I actually planned to trade them for PSS if I weren't satisfied, but I really am so I'm keeping them. I don't track my car, but as I said I'm stage 2 and do lots of spirited driving, and these tires are great!!
When I had mine I had to replace the alternator just outside of warranty.
Wiper Blade Stuff I ended up buying blades for $50 a pair...and by the way never use Rain-X or similar type products on your windshield, it makes your wiper blades clatter
