Falken Tires
jkhabe
  • Noise:
Rating 5.0

I just put Falken Wildpeak A/T3W's on my 4Runner last week and I am really surprised as to how quiet they are. I'm not noticing any appreciable noise over the original stock tires (Bridgestone) they replaced.

Pros: surprisingly quiet
Cons: none

AMSOIL Gear oil

I use Amsoil on my tundra. Except for the engine oil, i use mobil just because I changed my oil every 3000 miles, and i dont tow a lot, so I'm not reving my tundra as much . It is extremely expensive. I think I spend around 400.00 for the transmission, rear diff, transfer case, etc....But I did a lot of research on them, and they are worth the money.

Pros: worth the money
Cons: extremely expensive
Vehicle: Toyota Tundra
Mileage: 3000 km

ODYSSEY Battery

I'm on my second Odyssey Extreme (first one lasted from 2017-2022) and they are pretty good. I got the 34R-PC1500T. I give it a charge once every month or two with the Odyssey charger.

OEM Toyota Cooling fans
BulkySector5256
  • Fan operation:
Rating 3.5

I have a 2014 Tundra and had my unit go out. I believe it to be heat related because I found the cooling fan on the unit not to be working. I blew it out with compressed air and it has come back to life ( was out for about a week). Out of caution, I am going to replace the fan.

Pros: came back to life
Cons: heat related, fan not working
Vehicle: Toyota Tundra

  • Grip:
  • Ride comfort:
Rating 1.0

I bought 265/70/16’s Powertrac AT’s for my Toyota Hilux. Absolutely horrendous. Its to the point where im afraid to drive sometimes???? only thing it has going for it is that it has a really good treadlife and wears evenly, but it doesn’t matter if it can’t grip anyways????‍♂️

Pros: good treadlife, wears evenly
Cons: absolutely horrendous, afraid to drive
