KOYORAD Engine radiator
PatrickGSR94
  • Overheating:
Rating 5.0

I run the Koyorad 38mm radiator on my NB, with just regular Prestone green concentrate and distilled water 50/50, and OEM Mazda cap and thermostat. Coolant temps stay in the 190's at all times. It very rarely gets above 200 except on the hottest summer days, usually when sitting in traffic.

Pros: stable coolant temperatures, rarely overheats

MISHIMOTO Engine radiator
mooshnmiata
  • Overheating:
Rating 5.0

No issues for years on mine. Turbocharged with a coolant reroute at 250whp. Had their products in my civic and diesel trucks in the past and had no complaints. Going on 10 years with their stuff.

Pros: no issues for years, good for turbocharged, no complaints for 10 years

TYC Engine radiator
TheCrudMan
  • Overheating:
Rating 5.0

I've had one in my car for a decade of track use with no issue...I've got a new Denso I'm replacing it with when I get a chance since it's 10+ years old now (though its still black and shows no signs of aging really.)

Pros: no issue for a decade, good for track use, no signs of aging

Firestone Tires

Yeah, I have 20k with these on my Mazda6 and I wouldn't say they're unresponsive. In fact I would say they're quite responsive in that they like to track in the direction you're turning, so the car gets encouraged to dive into turns. One thing I have noticed is that they feel much more dead if you let them get low. Keep them at 36psi.

Pros: quite responsive, encourages turns
Cons: feel dead when low
Vehicle: Mazda 6
Mileage: 20000 km

Denso Oil filter

I will always use nothing else except the denso made OEM filter. The flow rate, the drain back, or lack of one, is perfect for this engine.

Pros: perfect flow rate, good drain back

OEM Mazda Automatic transmission
Raytech555
  • Shift quality:
  • Clunks:
Rating 2.5

I have a 2016 CX5 2.0L automatic.

transmission is clunky when downshifting to lower gears, especially when slowing down from low speed, have that issue since day one( purchased 4 years ago with 69000km, now speedo is on 145000km, not any major issue so far, knock on wood).

Cons: clunky downshifting
Vehicle: Mazda
Mileage: 145000 km

OEM Mazda Windshield

So on our 2019 we are now on our second replacement windshield. The first one was NOT OEM and we could tell. The HUD was fuzzy with a second mirrored image behind it, the lane detection was not as good, and in bright head on sunlight all the safety features would shut off due to the glare.

Pros: demanded OEM glass
Cons: HUD fuzzy, glare issues
