I can vouch for the Generals, their dry and wet traction is leagues better than the POS OEM Falkens, they're just as quiet, and treadwear is excellent. I ran 25k miles aggressively, and treadwear was minimal when I traded in my '18. I'm getting a new set of Generals tomorrow, when I take my winters off for the season.
Mazda parts reviews
Was running the Firehawk Indy 500s for the past few seasons. No complaints, great summer tire. Switched to the new Potenza Sport AS tire from Bridgestone, so far so good. Less bite then the Indy's but I'm liking them, good all around performance.
I had the BF Goodrich Comp 2s. Great tires on my 16. On my 21 CE I have Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4, better tire than the Comp 2s (the comp 2s looked better however). The Michelins just have more traction and handle the torque better. I also feel they are better laterally.
I swapped my OEMs with [Continental ExtremeContact DWS-06 Plus](https://continentaltire.com/tires/extremecontact-dws06-plus). They're pretty good and highly recommended everywhere.
I replaced my Mazda RX8s struts with kyb gas-a-just shocks and really like them! For a rwd sports car that I occasionally autocross they haven’t let me down!
Usually AutoZone near me runs a deal: but 5 quarts of Mobile 1, get a discount on the Mobile 1 filter...
It's worked for over a decade.
I installed PowerStop Drilled & Slotted Rotors with PowerStop Pads on my front brake setup. VERY powerful brakes and never had any issues with dust, noise, etc.
My friend’s nc had 71rs and after 7 track days he’s finally starting to see excessive shoulder wear.
My 2014 CX-5 eats batteries and always has since i bought it brand new. I usually have to replace 1x a year… and I know it’s coming about 45 days in advance because my bluetooth and USB chargers will suddenly stop working and that’s how i know oh my battery will die soon!
Mazda3 is great except the terrible shocks/ride quality. Easily a D grade.
