NITTO Tires

Rating 4.5

Nitto motivo 365. Ultra high performance tires and they're winter rated. They really do feel great in every condition also, had them on my 6 half a year now and loving how they feel more than the pirellis they replaced, which only lasted like 2 years also.

Pros: feel great in every condition
Cons: pirellis only lasted 2 years

Running Bridgestone Potenza Sport on mine. Best tires I have owned so far. Grippy as hell. Faster wear but picked up from Tirerack for about $600 for the set on clearance, so no complaints. Haha

Pros: grippy as hell
Cons: faster wear

GENERAL TIRE Tires

Ran the General G-Max As-07 and they were a great tire but still had some slippage in rain. Went with the Michelin CrossClimate 2 to replace them and have never looked back. Better tire all around.

Pros: great tire
Cons: slippage in rain
Vehicle: Mazda 6

Firestone Tires
oneupdouchebag
  • Grip:
  • Noise:
Rating 4.0

I currently have Firehawk AS V2's on mine. I live in an area that gets all four seasons, and they've served me well in the rain and snow/ice. I'm sure I'm sacrificing some summer performance, but that's pretty far from my priority. No issues with excessive wear or tire noise

Pros: good in rain, snow
Cons: sacrificing summer performance
Vehicle: Mazda 6

I work at Mazda and I try the Nocos and there okay for a here-and-there and I notice the cheaper ones die quicker.

OEM Mazda Windshield

I had a CX5 that went thru 6 windshields in 2.5yr period! Luckily my insurance had glass coverage and I paid $50 per replacement but still… not fun. I had other CX5’s and they all had some sort of windshield issues, either full replacement or chip filling.

Cons: frequent replacements, windshield issues
Vehicle: Mazda

OEM Mazda Windshield
Canawler
  • Clarity:
Rating 1.0

Unfortunately the quality of the OEM glass is horrible and I had them replace it again. The replacement was just as bad so at this point I've given up on getting a windshield free of distortion.

Cons: horrible quality, distortion issues
