OEM Honda CV joint
jsgti
  • Noise:
Rating 5.0

I had an '88 Si 4WS... Loved the car. It still runs well; the current owner has just over 300k mi on it. Aside from cv joints, a throttle body, a couple timing belts, and an alternator, the car hasn't needed anything major.

Pros: runs well, loved the car
Cons: rust, lust for Corrados
Vehicle: Honda Prelude
Mileage: 482803 km

my 570+whp civic buddy terry couldnt get past 574whp... the plugs he was running, bkr7e race plug, had alittle brown speckle and melted the number 3 plug. after letting the car cool down for 30 mins or so, instead of retarding timing to run more boost he slaped in a set of ngk r5672a-9 plugs... and upped the boost 2psi from 27psi to 29psi... and BAM!!!!! 616whp.

Pros: increased horsepower, more boost
Cons: melted previous plug

A friend of mine has the 950s on his Del Sol and does NOT stop saying great things about them. He got them at the Bridgestone Racing Academy for half price and is really really happy. However he does 'caution' that they are horrible, horrible in snow.

Pros: great things, really happy
Cons: horrible in snow
