GABRIEL Shock absorbers

I replaced the six year old KYB Excel-G shocks with Gabriel Max Control. The reviews say they are firm shocks. They are firmer than the KYB when they were new, but not too firm . Perfect for my liking. They really handle speed bumps well and almost completely eliminate sway when driving on mountain roads. Also, the truck stays level when coming to a stop. No nosedive.

Pros: firmer, eliminates sway, no nosedive

Cooper Tires

Put a set on my 2017 Ford Explorer Limited up sized slightly 255/55/20 . Had for 2 weeks and have been very pleased with the performance. We have had heavy rain, Snow and ice and they have been very predictable.

Pros: very predictable performance

I've had the hybrids for 3 1/2 years now on my 2019. I can't even express the difference at night. Completely worth the money.

I cleaned mine on my 2007 cvpi, definitely a noticeable improvement, although not sure on mpg. Mine was pretty black with 110k miles and 2500 hrs.

Pros: noticeable improvement
Cons: unsure on mpg

OEM FORD Thermostat

My 2018 Fusion Hybrid SE had a blend door problem and a bad blower motor. After market blower and thermostat, they said to change both, blower motor kept cutting of so I had to use a Ford thermostat. The after market blower seems to be fine now with the OEM thermostat.

Pros: resolved blower issue
Vehicle: Ford Fusion

Pirelli Tires

The "high performance" Perelli's that came with my Mustang GT became useless lumps of rock hard rubber at any temperature below 40F, despite being all-seasons. It was bad enough to be a significant driving hazard even on completely dry tarmac. Quickly switched out for Michelins.

Cons: driving hazard, rock hard

Pirelli Tires

Pirelli PZeros came stock on my Mustang GT and they were awful. They used to break loose all the time, I thought about trading the car in the first year because it handled like shit. Then I found a screaming deal on a set of Michelin Pilot Sports so I swapped them at 9000 miles. Night and day difference, it’s like a different car now.

Cons: awful, break loose
Mileage: 9000 km
