Best Engine oil for Ford Focus

for my Focus mk1 2002 1.6 i use Ford motorcraft at the last 2 changes but motul 8100 is totally fine, prev owner used it for 50-60k kms without issues(i know the owner, the mechanic, and i got a huge pile of paper as service history). odo is close to 280k. oil consumption is 0.5-1.0litre / 10000km depends how heavy my shoe is on highways. most important is oil spec and visco. any “good named” brand from valid source will work perfectly. i prefer motul and eneos, but this is just me, they do exactly the same: works no question. just change it regularly. i do mine at every 10-12k but i commute to work 100km 4 times a week, my oil barely operates cold.

Rotella t6 5w40 all day every day. Run it in my focus st. I noticed less oil consumption, cleaner plugs and less soot just after the second change

I have used nothing but Mobil 1 FS for 20 years on all my cars and family vehicles. I’ve never had a reason to switch.

Used this in my last st till I sold it… had 235,000kms on it and still ran like a champ.

Mobil-1 guy myself, at least so far. No issues, good price

Mobil 1, it’s better than 99% and you can get 4 quarts for $27 at Walmart.

Pennzoil Ultra Platinum in my 2016 Focus ST. It seems to love it. Quieter idle, great gas mileage, drives smoother after a cold start.

Ik heb Castrol olie gekocht die synthetisch is. Ik heb geen expert maar voor mijn 23 jaar oude Ford Focus neem ik liever het zekere voor het onzekere.

Been using Mobil 1 5w-30 full synthetic since I rolled it off the lot. Zero issues. I do my own changes every 3-5k. I did swap out to the FL400s filter to make it an even 6qts.

I went back and forth between Mobile 1 and Amazon full synth for 140k miles without issue. Just change the oil every 5000-7000 miles
