Rating 5.0

Had the same issue on our 2022 Bolt EUV. Front left inner tie rod. Common issue. Fixed and sound went away. Spent a few weeks digging online to find the issue as the shop could not find it at first.

Pros: sound went away
Cons: common issue

Cheap ones used in a lot of shop lately for both rotors and pads are Bosch, and they hold up pretty well. I put a full set on my Suburban a couple years ago and have no complaints.

Pros: hold up pretty well

OEM Chevrolet Alternator

I changed an alternator on one of these babies and it had AC. Took about 4 hours and thousands of curse words and a few bloody knuckles.

OEM Chevrolet Radiator hose
puba008
  • Coolant smell:
  • Puddles:
  • Temperature stability:
Rating 1.0

Waited 5 mos for head rests that work, $700 for brakes at 19k miles because Chevy dealer would not cover the issue and now the stupid radiator hose. In the shop now, they gave me a brand new equinox to drive (shocked). Traverse will be sold as soon as I get it back. Infiniti QX60 ordered. When my TrailBoss lease is up, that’s it for GM for me.

Cons: faulty headrests, premature brake wear, radiator hose issue
Vehicle: Chevrolet Traverse
Mileage: 30577 km

OEM Chevrolet Brake pads

  • Braking:
  • Noise:
Rating 1.5

A couple of months after purchase the breaks starting squeeking and a 1 1/2 years later they haven’t stopped. I have had the front ones replaced but I keep getting told it is due to no copper in the break pads anymore - I call BS to that. I also had to get a faulty sensor replaced for the front end because it was causing my car to abruptly stop when I attempted to pull off from a parked position. It was thinking something was in front of me so the front end collision thing was kicking in. I’ve also had to get the fuel injectors replaced because they went bad while in a road trip this summer. Luckily we were almost back home instead 800 miles away still. Currently waiting for rear breaks to come in so those can be replaced to hopefully stop this squeak.

Cons: squeaking brakes, faulty front sensor, bad fuel injectors
Vehicle: Chevrolet Traverse
