The Bosch oil filter and Mobil 1 5w20 combo is what I've been using for years for my 2010 TSX

for Hondas and Acuras that need recalibration with the ADAS camera systems, It’s best to use PILKINGTON. It seems to have a lower Failure rate.
I use 5W-30 Mobil 1 synthetic and the 10,000 mile Mobil1 filter from Walmart. I bought my 2009 TSX nearly 4 years ago with 113,000. It now has 178,950. I'm lucky it doesn't burn any oil, I never have to add oil between changes.
I had the original alternator go last summer (it was old). Mechanic replaced it, and then went thru 3 batteries over the course of the summer.
The alternator was the culprit. Replaced it with a Denso (Acura OEM) and the problem was solved. Aftermarket alternator was the source of the parasitic draw.
I've used Autozone's Duralast thermostats without issue on my old Integra.
As far as oil , im running valvoline restore and protect. Half way thru first oil change and the caked on varnish is just wiping away. Good stuff.
Honda filters are just relabeled FRAM Orange can filters. I step it up and use FRAM Ultra synthetic. Same particulate filtration but better quality and synthetic media.
The stage 1 grabs a bit more quickly and the pedal is heavier. (I've driven with a stage 1 exedy on a type s for about 20 years). With that being said, I don't think it's a huge difference in terms of actual real-world times of 0-60 or 0-100 times.
Brembo may have great stopping power but if this is the shelf life of their products definitely regret optioning them.
Since installing #19590, I’ve been hearing a slight grinding noise on startup — sometimes it sounds worse than other times, but definitely not right.
