Tires Pirelli or BRIDGESTONE

BRIDGESTONE Tires

I'm on my 4th set of blizzaks, and the new ws-80 are a huge improvement over previous versions. The older tires were terrible on dry/rain with a mushy feel. The WS-80 drive much more like an all-season. I drive aggressively, and these are very confidence inspiring no matter what the road surface is like. I took them out on snow/ice/slush for the first time last weekend and they were fantastic, not a single hiccup on the way to Mt. Hood Meadows.

Pros: confidence inspiring, fantastic performance
Cons: older tires were terrible

I put the Potenza RE 760 Sport (non all season tire) and I love its performance in wet and dry. It amazed me with the amount of cornering grip. Also, not noisy, and seems to be wearing very well.

Pros: good performance, amazing cornering grip
Cons: non all season tire

I got the same tires on my 2-door mk7 GTI. I think the tires are great but they were vibrating on the freeway so i had the deal check the balance and two of them were slightly out of balance. Rebalanced and so far so good.

Pros: great tires
Cons: vibrating on the freeway
Vehicle: Volkswagen

I have the RSe05 (17x8) with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11A 235/45R17 and I noticed I have slight chunking of the blocks on the outer shoulder after one heavy track weekend at Barber Motorsports Park.

Pros: slight chunking of blocks
Cons: outer shoulder overheating

BRIDGESTONE Tires

my buddy just picked up ws70's for his 2011 wrx. yesterday we went for a ride up the mountains and both of us where dissapointed in the ws70's. There was no snow or ice, but we did hit wet/damp roads and the ws70's where very squirmy in the corners. they sort of understeer then snap and oversteer. I wouldnt suggest them if she does any sort of spirited driving.

Cons: very squirmy, understeer then oversteer
Vehicle: Subaru
