Finally got back to the car this weekend to have the tires switched out from the conti to pzero. Much happier with the Perilli. Can certainly tell the stiffer sidewall, feels like it did with my original oem tires.

Pros: stiffer sidewall
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Pirelli Tires

I had them on my old B5 A4 and liked them very much. Didn't get great mileage out of them. But they handled very nice. I have a 2012 SEL and don't much care for the Pirelli tires on it now. Yes, they are only 50% at 21500 miles. which is good. But in the rain I think they get very slick. Don't have the confidence for spirited driving when wet out. Which the DWS's work well in.

Pros: handled very nice
Cons: slick in the rain
Vehicle: Audi A4
Mileage: 21500 km

Pirelli Tires

I've been very happy with Discount Tire, they've worked with me in the past on pro-rating tires, etc. These tires have gotten me through 10+ inches of snow this year three or four times plus a night of driving on pure ice on the highway home from work at midnight when it was -13 and salt wasn't working. I'm very positive on these tires!

Pros: positive on these tires

BRIDGESTONE Tires

My car came with the Toyos and they lasted one summer, in the winter I run Blizzaks. Summer 2012 and 2013 I ran Potenza RE-11s. These has spent 3 weekends at Tail of the Dragon in that time and still have tread left on them to get me into next season and they are stickier than the Toyo Proxes and about $100 per tire cheaper.

Pros: stickier than Toyo Proxes, cheaper

Never felt that way on pavement, but on those metal bridges sure, almost every tire I've ever had does exept the G-forces or the slicks on my m3. I actually really am happy with the Performance and life of the Pirelli Scorpion's. I've got 13,000 miles on mine and at 10/32s on the hot Florida roads thats awesome. Deff not worth switching out.

Pros: happy with performance, good life
Cons: felt that way on bridges
Vehicle: BMW
Mileage: 20921 km

I haven't had any issues with vibration, but have noticed more road noise on my Pirellis after 20 K. Probably won't get another set.

Cons: more road noise

I went wit Nitto 555s on the GLIwhich has a much bigger tracttion problem than the R's....huge ride, trn-in and traction improvement. OEM there was the rimprotectors known as Bridgestone RE050As in 225/40/18....horrible crap.

Pros: traction improvement, huge ride
Cons: horrible crap

I agree with the above poster; the Pirellis were less then impressive. Im at the end of the life of my 2nd set and have gotten 36K out of the 1st and 31K out of the second. They have cupped horribly, and consequently they are noisy as hell.

Cons: cupped horribly, noisy
Mileage: 36000 km
