Michelin's! Great grip especially in rainy weather, which is a priority for me. Plus, they're surprisingly quiet for a tire with such good handling.

Pros: great grip, surprisingly quiet

MICHELIN Tires

I run Michelin Pilot A/S3+ tires on my Toyota 86. I picked up a nail somewhere between Sacramento and Long Beach and the only reason why I knew about it was because I parked in such a way that the porter called it out when I got to the Queen Mary. The tire never deflated or showed signs of air loss. I still had it replaced, but the fact that the tire was safe enough to get me a replacement spoke volumes.

Pros: safe enough
Cons: picked up a nail
Vehicle: Toyota

BFGoodrich run me $220 a tire. Crap traction dry, horrible wet. Same price Michellin Pilot Sport AS4 work better wet than the Goodrich dry.

Pros: work better wet
Cons: horrible wet

These tires are great in you live in bad weather state. Drive a lot of very bad weather. They probably louder. More comfortable ride.

Pros: great in bad weather
Cons: probably louder

I also have had bad experiences with conti tires both on my 2012 CC and my 23 Arteon. In both which I've owned since new the michelin pilot sports have been phenomenal.

Pros: michelin pilot sports phenomenal
Cons: bad experiences with conti
Vehicle: Volkswagen

Nothing is wrong with your car, it's your tires. I have Yokohama Avid Ascend GT's on a Subaru and Civic and they both make the same exact humming noise. It's these tires. They're cheap tires (price wise), decent traction in dry an wet and even a little snow, but I guess Yokohama couldn't figure out the tread design to make them less noisy.

Pros: decent traction in dry, wet, snow
Cons: humming noise, hard to hear
