Tires MICHELIN or Toyo

Toyo Tires

If you want the best of both worlds, get Toyo T1R's. They are an all around amazing tire. They stretch great and perform well in wet and dry conditions. My car has never felt more \"sure footed\" than when i had 195-45 T1R's on my 15x8's.

Pros: amazing tire, stretch great
Cons: VERY expensive
Vehicle: BMW

MICHELIN Tires

Michelin Pilot Sport A/S. I have these on my Jetta right now and my god I freaking love them! So much better than those crappy Bridgestones EL-400 that came with the car.

Pros: I freaking love them

Toyo Tires

The Nexens don't stretch worth a damn, the federals aren't much better. If you want the stretch and need it to work the Toyo T1-R is your best bet.

Pros: Toyo T1-R best bet
Cons: Nexens don't stretch

To the person who said Pilot Exaltos, they are all seasons and in my experience are pretty decent in 3-6 inches of snow. I love Exaltos and they are worth every penny IMO.

Pros: decent in snow, worth it

I can attest to the Michelin Pilot Sport A/S Plus. They are freekin excellent: grippy, grippy and predictable in the rain, really quiet, ride nice, and the treadwear warranty can't be beat.

Pros: grippy, predictable in rain

Toyo Tires

I had the Toyo FZR's (I think) on my all-season 1.8T. Not the best by any stretch, but not too shabby in the muck either. Got me through 2 winters and only 1 time was I sweatin' with grip problems.

Pros: got through winters
Cons: not the best
