Tires MICHELIN or Pirelli

MICHELIN Tires

Michelin cross climate 2. Not a snow tire but rather “all weather.” Great handling in dry, wet and snow. My first set I got about 60K on and I only replaced them this fall because its ability in the snow was fading towards the end (which is normal).

Pros: great handling in snow
Cons: snow ability fading
Mileage: 60000 km

I have an X5 2021 40i M Sport package, and last week, I purchased a set of front 275/35R-22 Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 XL, rear 315/30R-22 Pirelli Scorpion Winter 2 PNCS, Noise Cancelling NON-run flats, I live in New Jersey. It snowed last night only 1 inch and rained and sleeted all day. I took a 120-mile round trip this afternoon on rt 78 today on these tires. I can tell you these tires performed excellent in the wet and ice. I had full control of the SUV. So far, tires are good.

Pros: excellent in wet and ice
Vehicle: BMW X5

Michelin is the gold standard. Period. They're expensive and worth every penny. Quiet, smooth, great handling and wear like iron.

Pros: quiet, smooth, great handling
Cons: expensive

I stopped using continentals when my last set of DWS sounded like a freight train down the road in my golf. I switched to Michelin crossclimate 2s and they have been a great all weather and quiet tire.

Pros: great all weather, quiet
Cons: continentals sounded like train

I absolutely love Michelin tires on my truck. Currently I have control contact tour plus on my Jetta. Close to 80,000 miles and not on the wear bars yet. I’m hoping to get close to 100,000 miles out of them.

Pros: high mileage, great performance
Mileage: 80000 km

They are what I expect for OEM/stock light duty truck tires, fine on the road and light off-road duty into a farm field or pasture. They don't slip anywhere near as much as the Michelin aftermarket tires I ran on my F150 on wet pavement/gravel and seem pretty reasonable on the road noise so far.

Pros: fine on road, reasonable noise

My P Zeros were trash, 10-12k miles and they were down to 3/32 already on all 4. I cant be convinced to go back to them, currently running Michelin PS4s so much better.

Pros: much better than P Zeros
Cons: trash, wore out fast
Mileage: 11000 km
