Honestly the Michelin pilot sport as4 is a better “summer tire” in many ways than the Hankook summer tires that come stock on these.

I'm in the Boston area and downsized to 18" Pretorias and Michelin Pilot Sport AS tires. Far less jarring when hitting potholes, no wheel damage yet, and the ride is smoother as well.

For tires, I'm running Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4's year-round and they have been exceptional.

I run 18" wheels both summer and winter, and use Michelin Pilot Alpins in the cold, Michelin PS4s in the summer and they serve me very well.

Did 18” dedicated rims with Michelin X-ICE (as I’ve loved how competent they are on dry cold roads as well as snowy ones.

I have 42k on Michelin defenders on my 2021 xle premium hybrid. Just barely passed inspection. They said to replace them by winter.

Pros: passed inspection

Cons: replace by winter
